Aligarh, August 12: Bringing laurels to Aligarh Muslim University, as many as 10 students of Saiyyid Hamid Senior Secondary School (Boys) have cleared the entrance examination of the National Defence Academy (NDA) conducted by the UPSC.
Those who have cleared the entrance exam are Shubham Saraswat, Narendra Kumar Gaur, Yogesh Sharma, Khagendra Singh Chauhan, Nikhil Singh, Ayush Chaudhary, Mayank Gupta, Aman Pratap Singh, Shashank Chauhan and Shahid Fakhri. These students will now face Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews from August 21, 2017 onwards.
Prof Asfar Ali Khan (Director, Directorate of School Education, AMU) and Major S M Mustafa (Principal, Saiyyid Hamid Senior Secondary School) have congratulated the students and wished them success for the interview. NCC Aligarh Unit officials, Col. Anurag Sharma, Col. Devendra Kumar Joshi and Col. Devendra Krishna have also congratulated the students.
Saiyyid Hamid Senior Secondary School offers free counselling to NCC Cadets to prepare them for SSB Interview.
