Mumbai: Anjuman-I-Islam, a premier educational and social institution, established its first Law College in the name of its ex-president and former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Late Barrister Abdul Rehman Antulay here in Mumbai. The Law College has been established under the mantle of the current president Dr. Zahir Kazi.
In the induction ceremony function organized by the college, senior counsel Adv. Rafique Dada motivated the students with his keynote address where he etched education, hard work, dedication and passion as the key to successful practice in the minds of the students. He also mentioned the quality of a successful lawyer is not in ‘Art of Speaking’ but ‘Art of Knowing when to keep Silent’.
The program was presided over by Dr. Zahir Kazi who outlined, “the achievements of alumni and present students of Anjuman-I-Islam in various fields are highly commendable though coming from adverse backgrounds, leaving their imprints and making their Alma Mater and community proud.”
The much needed and highly awaited Law College has commenced with one batch of 60 students and in its very year of inception. The College is functioning from its CST Campus, a prime location in the heart of the city.
