New Delhi: Bhim Army chief Chandra Shekhar Aazad raised the issue of human rights violations in India at a virtual meeting held by the United Nations Human Rights Council. He said that the government of India is oppressing minorities and using ”undemocratic methods” to suppress voices of dissent.
He alleged use of force and registration of ”false cases” against anti-farm laws and CAA protestors.
”Teas gas and water cannons were used even against senior citizens and women protestors. False cases are registered against protestors. Same methodoly was used for suppressing a protest against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).”

He alleged that the government of India is pushing for privatisation at the cost of farmers.
He requested the UNHRC to urge India to uphold human rights of the peaceful non-violent protesting farmers and stop imposing draconian or unconstitutional laws on its citizens.
A large number of farmers have been protesting for the past several months against three farm laws passed by the federal government. They believe that the laws tend to promote privatisation and further private businesspersons’ interests.
Bravo,he( Chandrasekhar) is a rising star.Every point he raised are praiseworthy.but the problem is UNO is becoming a toothless Tiger since 2001( Iraq war) as discussed by many people.yet Chandrasekhar deserve thanks.wishing him good luck.
