New Delhi : Annual function was conducted in Sir Syed Mission School, Shaheen Bagh in commemoration of famous social reformer and activist Sir Syed Ahmad Khan.
On the occasion the school’s multipurpose hall was fully packed with audience. Speeches in English and Arabic were delivered by students on the importance of ‘modern education in the light of shariah’ and ‘science and the Quran’. Besides, students also performed patriotic songs, group skits and mono acts.
Mr Kaleemul Hafeez founder chairman of Al- Hafeez education Academy was the chief guest, whereas Mr Mohammad Shakir (retired) from central Waqf Council, Ministry of minority affairs was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Kaleemul Hafeez said ‘ these beautiful educational and cultural programs show our educational progress in society, it is very necessary to seek both holistic and worldly knowledge, if we do not get contemporary education we cannot be a contributor to the society and may fall in doubt about the ethical practices. The chief guest appreciates the effort done by the management and the educators to educate in such a holistic approach.
Er. Mohammad Kalimullah , the director of the school thanked the chief guest, guest of honour, parents, teachers and media persons. He stressed upon the need to impart quality education to students with the spirit of service to the human beings irrespective of religion, cast and creed.
Twenty- six students were awarded with certificates of excellence for several competitions conducted over the current session.
