New Delhi : Human Welfare Foundation, New Delhi under its ambitious plan “Vision 2016” has been awarding 500 scholarships every year in the field of humanities and social sciences. On Sunday, 31 January 50 meritorious and selected undergraduates and postgraduates students have been awarded scholarship (10 thousands for Under Graduate and 20 Thousands for Post Graduate) worth Rs Five lacs in a distribution program at the Scholar School Auditorium Jamia Nagar, New Delhi. The Selection of awardees were finalised on the basis of their academic and overall performance through an interview.
The prominent educationist, social work educators and philanthropists of the area guided the participants. Hussain Yasin Siddiqui, Researcher and Educator, Dr. Rihan Khan Suri, Career and Placement officer JMI, Dr. Habeeburrahman Social work dept. JMI, Shamim Siddiqui, President, Jamia Nagar Coordination Committee, Kuwar Anwar sb, President RWA, and Hafiz Irfan President Jamiatul Aimma and Member District Board Badaun were present and felicitated the awardees.
The programme was presided over by Rafeek Ahmed sb, Treasurer, HWF. Zahoor Ahmed, Incharge Scholarship welcomed the guests while PK Noufal, Zahid Hussain, Mohd Islam, Mohd Abdullah, and Abdul Kareem were also participated to made a event successful.
