However upon reaching there, some local students came and started thrashing the Kashmiri passengers, a student was quoted as saying by The Kashmiriyat.

He alleged that the students also threw stones on the passengers who had gathered in a ground near the college. They thrashed us saying “You are Pakistani, go to Pakistan, Yahan Modi ka Raaj chalega”, he said.

The locals closed the gate disallowing the movement of hundreds of Kashmiris and later hurled stones towards the ground from outside.

Later, the students who thrashed us without a reason held a protest accusing us of raising anti-national slogans, which is totally baseless,” the eyewitness said.

Hundreds of Kashmiris are stranded in Jammu as the Highway connecting Jammu with Srinagar has been shut for the past six days.

  1. Same modus operandi by ABVP goons.
Creating mischief, then accusing innocents of raising anti-national slogans, and sycophant police hand-in-glove with ABVP bandits.
