Baghdad, Iraq, July 25 : Iraq called for the upcoming 27th Arab Summit, set to kick off in Mauritania today (Monday), to support the country’s anti-terrorism efforts, through providing aid and support.
The Iraqi government aspires an effective contribution by Arab countries, to supporting the Iraqi government and armed forces’ efforts, to liberate all cities and towns from the so-called Daesh, Saad Al-Hadithi, official spokesman of the government, said, in a statement.
Iraq also urges Arab countries to help the government’s efforts in alleviating the humanitarian burdens borne by local refugees and restore stability inside liberated cities, Al-Hadithi added.
Baghdad also called the summit, to dry out all sources of terror, including intellectual, media, and financial, and implement UNSC’s resolutions related to weakening terrorists’ capabilities and terminate them permanently.– NNN-NINA
