New Delhi: Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadees Hind, one of the oldest religious organization of Indian Muslims has announced that it will hold its 34th All Indian Ahle-Al-Hadith Conference on “Restoration of World Peace and Protection of Humanity” from March 9-10 at Ramlila Ground in the national capital. It announced that the Imam Haram Sharief is expected to attend the conference.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday here, Maulana Asghar Ali Imam Mahdi Salafi, President, Ahle Hadees, said the world is passing through its worst phase of history and bloodshed and hatred against each other in the name of religion and sect has become the order of the day.
In this context, the Jamiat has decided to hold its 2-day annual conference on this theme as the Jamiat is committed to the promotion of peace, humanity, and unity, he said.
We expect that this conference too like in the past will serve the larger purpose of humanity and will help in bringing peace and stability in this war-torn world, he said.
Referring to Jamiat Hadees fatwa against terrorism issued in 2006 by 150 Ulema, Maulana Salfi said the gathering of Ulema from across the world will be able to convey the message of peace and enlighten people about the “deep-rooted conspiracy of the ISIS and other similar organizations” who are working to disrupt the social harmony and brotherhood everywhere and tarnish the image of Islam.
The conference will also highlight other social issues and evils like bribery, drugs, wine, bribery, dowry, poverty, unemployment, pollution, global warming and growing dearth of water resource which are equally posing challenges to the society, he added.
In response to a question, Jamait Chief said the Jamiat has extended a formal invitation to the Imam Haram Sharief for the conference and the later accepted the invite.
“If the Imam gets clearance from the Indian Home Ministry, we hope he would come to India to join the conference”.
In the conference, the Jamiat will also take up the issues of health and pollution and will ask the people to give utmost attention on this issue, Maulana Salafi said.
He said the Jamiat has done a survey to know the condition of Muslim women involved in Beedi-making job in West Bengal. The survey found poor-health of these women, and they mostly suffered from asthma, bronchitis, and TB. Jamiat tired to change their job by providing them alternative work to a certain extent, he said.
The recent conference on the “Islamic Heritage” also cropped up as Maulana Asghar Ali was one of the invitees of the Conference.
In reply to a question, Jamiat chief defended his presence in the conference held at Vigyan Bhawan which was addressed by the Jordan King and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
When asked why none of the religious leaders present there did not put any questions to the PM on the security of the minority, he said he did not get the opportunity to speak. After persistent queries, he admitted that the security issue has been overriding on the minds of minority communities and weaker sections in the country.
What sort of a name is this jamaat ‘ahle hadees’? Is it a sect?
Is their deen complete even without the Quraan?
We can understand if the main body of moderate believers is called ‘Muslim jamaat’ and base their Deen on mainly Quraan and saheeh hadees, and also some ijtihad on modern recent issues of society.
Branding of ghair muqallidiyat and promoting their beliefs, any imam from Haram won’t embrace them but only Saudi govt funded….!
These devients want stamp of approval from another devients Saudis. But muslims are wide awake now.

Great
Allah called the believers ‘Muslimeen’ in the Quraan.
These ‘Muslims’ are supposed to follow the Quraan sent by Allah swt and saheeh Sunnah of the last Prophet s.a.w.s.
Calling your group anything else is nothing but sectarianism and having illusion of superiority over other believers, which is absolutely not allowed in Islamic brotherhood.
May Allah give all of us good sense and oneness; and ability to forego minor differences and stay away from all bidaah, innovations and divisions.
Hypocrisy of hypocrites …exposing themselves
