Ayodhya: “Indian judiciary is the one of the strongest judiciary in the world which can change the society and provide justice to all citizens, but unfortunately the judiciary completely failed to perform its duty in Babri Masjid case. Those who demolished the Masjid still roaming freely’ said justice B.G. Kolse Patil, the ex-judge of Mumbai High Court while releasing a book ‘AYODHYA-PAWN on the POLITICAL CHESS’ on Sunday.
The book throws historical lights on Babri Masjid and the town of Ayodhya .
The book release function was organized by SDPI (Social Democratic Party of India) in Sri Ram Hotel at Hanuman Garhi, in the historical town of Ayodhya.
It has been written by Sharfuddin Ahmad, who is renowned advocate of Allahabad High Court and also the vice president of SDPI.
‘I have come from Kerala, which is being projected by the state government as ‘God’s own country’ but for me Ayodhya is ‘God’s own city’ which represents all religion like Buddhism, Jainsim, Sikhism and Islam. Unfortunately now Ayodhya has become synonyms to ‘terror’ and ‘hate’ and SDPI is bound to make Ayodhya a city of communal harmony love and peace’ said A. Sayeed the national president of SDPI.
From last 170 years a false story is being fabricated to spread hate, but lies are not withstanding against truth despite all out efforts, he added.
Ayodhya is very different as its perceived from outside. It’s a city of peace and communal harmony, I hope this book which has been penned by my longtime friend Sharfuddin Saheb would help to enhance the real image of Ayodhya, said Ram Janma Bhoomi Ayodhya Chief Priest Acharya Satendra Kumar ji.
Ayodhya is a city of complete communal harmony, my father Hashim Ansari and Mahant Gyan Das (both oldest litigants in Babri Masjid dispute) used to go to court sitting on the same scooter, said Iqbal Ansari the son of Hashim Ansari.
To maintain the peace and communal harmony the decision of court should be accepted by all parties and no one should feel hurt whatsoever be that as all dispute should be resolved according to Constitution, added Anasri.
The issue of Babri Masjid is not the issue of two communities, it’s the issue of humanity, justice must prevail and that can be achieved only through re-construction of Babri Masjid, said Jugal Kishore Sastri an ex- member of VHP and Hindu Jagran Manch.
The preface of the book has been written by Justice P.B. Sawant, former Judge Supreme Court of India.
Other prominent persons who were present on the occasion were Jyotish Shri. Hari Dayal Mishra, SDPI General Secretary Mohammed Shafi, SDPI UP State President Mohammed Kamil, social activist Khaleel Ahmed Babu Bhai (Sadiq Ali) and Najmul Hasan Ghani.
