Bangalore: Abdus Samad Siddibapa, who was acquitted of all charges in Pune’s Germany Bakery blasts case, told in a BBC interview that his life is worse than the one he spent in jail. Abdus Samad, who hails from Bhatkal, a coastal town of Karnataka,was arrested in 2010 after the investigators found a face similar to his in the CCTV gathered from the blasts site. He said he faced social boycott as nobody wants to meet him. With tears in his eyes, he said his old friends and relatives try to avoid him. He said: “My friends and relatives know that I am innocents but they fear that any link with me may bring difficulty in future…the police may harass them.”
