Ahmedabad, June 11: The National Executive of Muslim Students organization of India (MSO) was held in Ahmedabad and passed a project to strengthen moral values at colleges and university campuses of the country. The National Executive camp was held on 8th June Saturday at Hotel Le-Meridian, Ahmedabad Gujarat. Delegates from 20 states of the country participated.
The camp also put forward a whole year plan including formation of MSO state committees, district committees, local and campus committees, membership campaigns and establishing hostels. Formation of MSO planning board was also announced in the meeting with Dr. Abdul Hakeem Azhari, Dr. Sarwar Alam, Adv. Shahnawaz Warsi and Syed Thurab Thangal as its members. While R.P Hussain from Kerala was declared as new General Secretary of the organization with Syed Muhammad Qadri continuing his post of President.
The program was inaugurated by the Daryapur MLA, Mr. Giyasuddin Sheikh. Vice Chancellor of Sunni Markaz, Calicut Dr. Hussain Saqafi presided the programme. Maulana Shauqat Naeemi from J&K spoke on the need and necessity of students movement. Adv. Ismail Wafa trained students about the functioning of the organization.
Adv. Shahnawaz Warsi New Delhi,Eng. Syed Yasir (U.P), Engineer Mohammad Raoof (Banglore),RP Hussain, Syed Muhammad Turab (Kerala), Shujat Ali Qadri (Jaipur) also addressed the students.
