Ne Delhi, 4 Nov 2014 :Muslims are unnecessarily blamed maligned and targeted for excessive meat consumption while the fact is that Christians and Jews are the highest meat consumer communities. The world’s largest beef meat exporter country is Brazil followed by India,Australia, USA and UK.
When we see this matter in an Indian perspective we would be surprised to know that out of six largest meat exporters of India four are Hindus.In spite of these facts Muslims are harassed and targeted and as beef eaters. In several cases they are beaten severely by Hindutva brigades and put behind bars by the police. Many times communal riots took place only due to this blame game. These communal elements become more active during Eid ul Azha festival only to communalize the atmosphere.
But the same Hindutva brigades forget the Hindu animal sacrifice festivals which get media attention world over in which thousands of animals are killed ruthlessly.
There’s a ritual of sacrificing cow which is still performed in many temples of Himachal Pradesh, Surprisingly the high court had to intervene to stop those animal killings in the premises of Mandir specially at the Pashupatinath Temple
Recently in Nepal around a quarter million animals were killed during Gadhimai Hindu rituals festival .
Ironically many Hindu Businessmen are the largest beef suppliers of India.Following are the four largest beef exporters who are Hindus.

Just coz they have two senses less than animals you can consider them to be lifeless. In fact its a more heinous crime to kill a mute & lame than a normal guy so with this perspective the vegetarians are more brutal & criminal than non vegetarians. The dietary habits is an individual choice so why to malign a community for political gains? For centuries Indians have consumed beef & its progeny this is testifies by the various scientists. Only the Brahmin clan who just want to regain this control & hold over Hindu community are mulling this for personal gains. But I must say not all Brahmins there are many progressive Brahmins who defy this age old caste & varna system. But unfortunately RSS is trying hard to induce poison in their young minds & unfortunately the present gov is fully backing it to expand their voter base. आज तक ऐसा नहीं हुआ के शाकाहारी लोगों ने इन बड़ी कंपनियों के खिलाफ आवाज उठाई हो उठे भी तो कैसे
देश चलाने के लिए शाकाहारी होना जरूरी नहीं है
आज हम जानवरों को बचाने (पकड़वाने) की बात करते है वहीं हजारों लोग शराब और तम्बाकू से मर रहे हैं उसके license का विरोध कोइ नहीं करता.

In my village dhamar my family donated about 12 bigha land for gorakshani.For over decades not a single cow is there. A committee is there to look after the property. i read few of above comments on beef ban & knew that many muslims are misleaded and procided wrong information about hinduism and vedas. As i keep on reading various religious book from holy koran, bible to veduc scriptures. I want to bring the truth that why we are against cow slaughtering? Vedas are widely accepted in the world as a god’s transcendental words which is not written by any man, that’s why it is called “APAURUSHEY” which means it is not man written. This is why there is no author name associated with it. Vedas teach human society how to live in the society duly maintaining material and spiritual advancement.
1) There is a verse in vedas ” ahimsa parmo dharamah” which is taken up frequently everywhere in the world. u know it well. this is frst teachings of vedas.
2) In vedas, 7 living entity is said to be considered as mother. they are – aadimata or ur mother, guru wife, brahman wife, king’s wife, prithvi, gau or cow & cow’s nurse. Also bull is called father because it was ancient age when there was no machine for agriculture purpous. as one’s father works very hard out of home by his body, in summer winter & rainy season to nourish his family, bulls used to do the same to plough the field to yield crop for entire mankind to feed them regardless their religion, caste, creed and so forth. it was time of veduc economics when ppl used to be called as rich person if they possessed many cows and lands. with cows they can drink & sell milk as well as its by product to earn money. and from land they can cultivates grains to eat & sell if surplus grain is there. Therefore it was etiquette to accept cow & earth as mother because they are nourishing u.
3) since, in india keeping cow was a famous trend and vedic wisdom therefore no one kept buffalos, goats, sheeps or camels. it was in undia but was rare like few trees in desert. so ppl were drinking only cow’s milk. since we drink cow’s milk it is our etiquette to consider her as our mother. This is very unfortunate hindus call cow as mother but they don’t care and protect them as our own mother. it was said that it will happen in kaliyuga that less intelligent ppl will kill the holy cow who is all pure and useful from milk to sweets to ghee to urine to dung. though a cow is old now she should not be left on the road or sold to the butcher. according to vedas, doing so is a great sin and for this they will suffer in hell for as many years as many hairs were on ciw’s body.
4) A man is a omnivorous, no daught. but it is upto a man who decides what to eat & what not to eat. A man can live by eating grains, vegs, fruits, milk and its by products, dry fruits. then why should one commit a sinful deed by killing any sorts of animals or birds? if u concot your idea that plants are also living entities then i wud like to mention that we can take few fruits to eat from a tree or take some vegs from a veg tree like brinjal, pumpkin, pea so forth. and it will grow another @ its place. can we do the same with animals? cut a leg or head of an animal and leave it on time to regenerate. of course we can’t.
5) vedic injunction us that if u r living in a desert or ice land or no men’s land where u don’t hv to eat grains or fruits then only you can eat animals but first of all small animals shud be slaughtered. we shld minimize slaughtering to avoid to make it frequent trend followed by our successors.
6) vedic idealogy says that if u r living in such a open place which is filled with grains, vegs, fruits, then u shuld live like a sober person or so called saintly person who doesn’t want yo pain anyone even animals also.
7) u can live on grains and vegs also. then why do u intend to kill any animal just for sense gratification. even great wali allah had no meat eating and they relied on very few veg eatings.
so plz don’t kill any animals.
for foolish hindus, i wuld add that it is no where written in vedic scriptures that demigods are hungry for meat. it us we who r hungry and wants to eat dead bodies becase it gratifies our senses for few times then again it ask.

My family eat sheep, chicken and pork .. Well I have abstained from eating any animal meat. Why ? Simple reason is they suffer like hell, when being killed. Think this way. If someone put you in truck which is so congested to transport you to different place. You will know the harassment and when you know that you are being taken to cut your head slowly suffering you get is unimaginable. It doesn’t matter chicken, goat or beef. You can argue same thing about vegetables to me.. !!!But at least I am able to save animals from being killed by not eating them .. .
My humble suggestion is if you eat any animal meat, see that animals are not suffered (like transporting in congested truck etc) and killed . Ameen

Meat is a food for those where vegetables, rice, wheat, water etc natural food, not available . There is a shlok in a sinskrit ” BHUBHUKSHIT KIM NA KAROTI PAPAM. Another shlok is JIVA HA JIVASYA BHOJANAM”.
But In Hinduism we belive COW is our mother and no body has right to kill mother and eat.
In India plenty of Natural food is available so why to go for meat?
As per sinskrit shlok the meat will be food if no population will be controlled. The explosion by population will creat shortage of agriculture land, shortage of pure water, increase in heat and disturbance in natural climatic conditions. Poisonous air will spread various and unidentified dieses by which living body will live life like dead body.
