Jeddah : Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, has donated SR15 million from his personal account for charitable societies in Makkah region within the Project of Prince Muhammad Bin Salman’s support for charitable societies in all regions of the Kingdom.
As many as 14,914 people have been benefited from the Crown Prince’s donation distributed through 10 charitable societies in Makkah region, including five categories such as orphans, cancer patients, widows and divorcees, young men and women preparing for marriage, as well as needy and destitute families. The project covers all categories of people throughout the Kingdom. The project was launched last week from Riyadh region with an amount of SR 23 million that distributed among 11,680 beneficiaries through 14 charitable societies.
The beneficiaries included seven categories such as orphans, people with special needs, cancer and Down Syndrome patients, widows, divorcees, young men and women preparing for marriage, as well as needy and destitute families.
