Boston (United States): In its first meeting in Unites states, SeedingSTEM – an upcoming global consortium of scientists and educationists which offers education and research consultancy to the institutions and individuals- promised to offer unparalleled service to young budding scholars for education and research purposes.
The meeting was attended by scientists, students, and scholars from different countries and universities
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Ali Rizvi, a Boston based entrepreneur and educator, stressed upon the need to provide critical information, guidance, and mentorship to academic institutions collectively and to individual students on a micro level.
The meeting was also addressed by Dr. Shabir Hassan – a postdoctoral scientist at the Harvard University- who presented a detailed account on the genesis and vision of the initiative. Dr. Hassan said “Even though students have gained access to the Internet and smart phones and laptops, there is still a lacuna when it comes to drafting CVs, SOPs, and applications different graduate schools in general and we aim to help them with it”.
The meeting culminated with a question and answer session where scientists like Dr. Su Ryon Shin gave some important inputs to students and scientists of various countries who were present on the occasion.
