Hyderabad, April 30: Many students who studied till class 10 in Urdu medium schools and were admitted in Intermediate (10+2) at English medium corporate colleges with the financial support of Foundation for Economic & Educational Development (FEED), have performed well and achieved high scores in their final examinations whose results were declared on 26th April.

Another girl Sajida Begum of Veerannagutta had got 8.5 GPA in SSC, 82% in first year and she got 93% in final year of Intermediate examination.
“We are happy to inform that the students of our Urdu medium schools, who were admitted in corporate colleges in Intermediate (10+2), have performed well and achieved high scores in their final examinations. The results were announced yesterday. The medium of instruction up to SSC (Class 10th) for these students was Urdu and they pursued Intermediate in English medium. In spite of this serious handicap, they proved second to none and scored good marks as per the following details,” said Mr. Ghiasuddin Babukhan, Managing Trustee, FEED.
In addition to the above, two FEED students who pursued their education in English medium schools also performed well in their final year Intermediate examinations as following:
“These are few examples which confirm that they can prove themselves provided they are given an opportunity. Insha Allah, we are sure that these Gems will achieve good ranks in the forthcoming Entrance tests like EAMCET and NEET for which they are now being provided coaching. Had these Gems were left uncared for, they would have ended their career in a different way,” added Mr. Babukhan.
“It is the monetary disadvantage that acts as a stumbling block desisting those children and youth with intelligence, zeal and track record to pursue their dream of higher education and better themselves in life. We at FEED and HZCT (Hyderabad Zakat and Charitable Trust) spare no effort in seeking and identifying these gems and assist them to glow with education and become capable citizens, ferrying themselves and their families to better demographic levels and making a positive and meaningful contribution to society,” he said.
