PDP leader granted bail, party says ‘detained’ by intelligence body

By Muslim Mirror Staff New Delhi: A NIA court in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday granted bail to PDP's youth wing president Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra who was arrested on 25 November 2020 in a militancy-related case. The court observed that there was "no whisper" about his involvement in crimes in the original charge sheet presented by the NIA in July 2020. Following the court judgment, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday alleged that Parra had subsequently been detained by the Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK).
