British Counsel General to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia converted to Islam and changed his name to Seif Usher.

He changed his name on Twitter and also shared a picture of his visit to the holy mosque in Medina city.

“I am very happy to return to my favorite city – Medina – and perform the Fajr prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque,” he wrote on the microblogging site.

Social media celebrity Mutah Wassin Shabazz Beale, better known as Napoleon, broke the news on Twitter. Mutah is a former member of Tupac’s rap group Outlawz. Beale has since converted to Islam and is now a motivational speaker.

Usher is not the only British diplomat to accept Islam. Previously, former British ambassador to Saudi Arabia Simon Collis had also converted to Islam and performed Hajj in 2016.

“Seif converted to Islam years back. Someone spotted him in Medina recently, clicked his picture and posted on social media” a renowned  Saudi national who is close friend of Seif informed Muslim Mirror.
