New Delhi: Former Indian cricketers, Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan, have announced that their cricket academy will provide free meal to Covid-19 affected people in South Delhi.
Pathan brothers took to Twitter to announce that Cricket Academy of Pathans (CAP) will distribution of food among Covid-19 patients undergoing home isolation in the southern parts of the national capital.
While the nation is in the midst of second wave of COVID-19, it becomes our responsibility to come together and assist the people in need. Irfan & his brother Yusuf were among those who had contracted the virus in March, after playing in the Road Safety World Series tournament in Raipur. Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was among those people who tested positive for coronavirus too.
Yususf Pathan has been regularly sharing information about people infected by COVID-19 in need of medical care and hospital beds. Recently, he shared details of a charitable trust run by his father and asked people in Vadodara, Gujarat, to contact it if they need any assistance with food kits. He also urged everyone to remain calm and help each other in this difficult time.
