New Delhi: As a ripple effect of Kanpur government Medical College Principal, Dr Aarti Lalchandani’s communal utterances, chorus is growing in rich gulf Arab states to send “Hindtuva” doctors back to their home and to severe all health services-related contracts with India.
Arab parliamentarian taking social media to lent their voices raised alarm bells over the treatment of Arab patients by “Hindu doctors and nurses”.
In Kuwait, an influential parliamentarian Mohammad Haif Al Mutairi has called for investigating “Hindu” doctors and nurses to check they are killing Arab Muslims by wrong medication.
In a tweet, Mohammad Haif urged the Kuwait government’s health ministry to immediately halt all health services-related contracts with India.

As fallout of the communalization of medical profession and instances of sending back Muslim patients by doctors in the country after the Tablighi Jamaat episode, a doubt has been created in the minds of Arab people about the Indian doctors who are working there.
The Kuwaiti member parliament said there is growing hatred of “Hindutva” doctors towards Muslim patients and there is fear of ‘deliberate manslaughter”.
Renowned activist MJAL SHRIKA also warned in a tweet “Hindutva doctors volunteering to kill Muslim patients by poisoning them is an extremely dangerous trend.” He said Arab parliaments and health ministries are alarmed and warning being issued to stop & investigate Islamophobic “Sanghi doctors in the Middle East.
In another tweet he said that “Many Arab Muslim patients are being wronged by Hindutva doctors, with lingering diseases , wrong prescriptions and rising manslaughter”.
Persons like Ms Lalchandani should be booked under relevant sections of the IPC for seeking to criminally derail the fight against #COVID19, said Dr Bajpai who is also a Professor at Centre for Social Medicine and Community Health at JNU, New Delhi. #ArrestDrArtiChandani

Since the video of Dr. Aarti Lalchandani was surfaced, the image of the Indian medical fraternity took a severe beating.
Although, Dr Lalchandani has apologized unconditionally for the video and has been transferred by the UP government but the video in which she purportedly referred to Tablighi Jamaat members as “terrorists” and asked “why the Government is giving them ( Jamaati patients) VIP treatment… ,exhausting resources, instead of these people to be punished in “solitary confinement” in jails or “sent to jungles and locked up in dungeons” has already done the damage.
