Various incidents of violence against Muslims were reported from Tripura. Several visuals have emerged on social media that confirm allegations of anti-Muslim violence in the state. Locals Muslims have also alleged the same. However, the state police have denied such reports and have taken no action against the culprits. On the contrary, they have hounded lawyers, journalists and human rights activists for merely speaking about the violence.
