In 2015, the United Nations drew up a set of 17 global goals to combat poverty, inequality, environmental destruction, and more by 2030. These Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – representing international collaboration unparalleled in human history – are now adopted by 193 countries including India which has failed miserably in achieving earlier eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) set by the UNO.

The Summit aims to raise awareness of the 17 UN SGDs among all stakeholders around the world, as well as provide guidance on how they can contribute individually.

They also want to give a global platform for students, entrepreneurs, and world leaders to present their work, thoughts, and points of view all under one roof. The three key results that GMHA, CliMed, and Jamia Hamdard hope to achieve from this one-of-a-kind summit are education, recognition, and collaboration.
