Speakers highlight Islam message of peace and love

New Delhi: At a seminar on the topic ‘Islam ke buniyadi usool –aman aur salamati’ (Islam’s basic principle of Peace and Safety), speakers highlighted the Islam’s pristine principles on peace and brotherhood. They said more than 1400 years ago, Islam taught its followers not to create any fasad (riots) on the earth and maintain cordial and friendly relation with all human beings irrespective of their faith and beliefs.
The seminar was held at madarsa Irfan –ul-uloom, Akbari Jama Masjid, New Ashok Nagar, here and it was presided over by Rizwan Ahmed Siddiqui who is the president of the Madarsa Irfan-ul-uloom.
Dr.Parvez Miyan, President All India Milli Council,Delhi State & ex-chairman, Delhi State Haj Committee, was chief guest in the Seminar.
In his address, Dr Miyan said Islam established peace and security in the world more than 1400 years ago and spread of the message of peace and love. Recalling the prevailing atrocities and ignorances in the Arab society, he said Islam eliminated all types of subjugations and social evils including the burying girl-child alive for the sake of false honor.
He said Islam also taught to be faithful with the country where one lived and avoid doing anything bad with anybody. It is the duty of the Muslims to help their neighbors irrespective of their religion. He said that Muslims should promote modern education to their children along with religious education. Peace and brotherhood are the fundamentals of Islam. The Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (be peace upon him) preached to the Muslims not to do any such thing which could harm others.
