Patna, April 6: The Bihar Zone of Students Islamic Organisation of India held a counseling for students preparing for the all-India medical entrance test NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) to be conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education).
NEET is a new pattern of medical entrance test which is being introduced first time from this year, and that’s why students have a lot of confusions and doubts. “To clear doubts and confusions, SIO Bihar organized this special camp,” said Mr. Md Anwar, Zonal President, SIO.
As guide, Prof. Abul lais (Physics), Prof. R.K Sinha (Chemistry), Prof. Vijay Kumar (Zoology) and Dr. Chaudhri Sharfuddin (Botany) participated in this camp. Dr. A.Q. Siddique, (HoD of Surgery in PMCH) was the patron of this program. Motivating the students, Dr. Siddique said, “Hard work, Seriousness and concentration are the tools of success”.
Along with the professors, a group of successful students in medical entrance exam were also present. They shared their experience of facing medical entrance exam.
SIO Bihar zone president Mr. Md. Anwar urged students not to make medical profession a business or trade like other businesses, rather keep human angle and social service as the motto.
“It is said that a Doctor comes next to God… This profession was regarded as the life saver job, but nowadays this profession has become business,” said Mr. Anwar.
About 80 students from different cities of Bihar participated and benefited from this camp. The program concluded with vote of thanks by Campus Secretary of SIO Bihar Mr. Sohaib Akhter.
