By Manzar Imam Senior journalist Maulana Rahmatullah Farooqui died of cardiac arrest on Thursday night, 12 May, 2022. He was 71 and is survived by two sons and three daughters. His wife had passed away two months ago. Born on 23 April, 1953 in Bihar’s Samastipur district, Farooqui studied in several educational institutions of Uttar Pradesh.
