BAGHDAD:  French President Emmanuel Macron on Saturday stressed his country’s support to Iraq’s stability and its fight against the Daesh/ISIS terrorist group. "We are in Baghdad to consolidate stability in Iraq and the region, and Iraq's stability is not possible unless it is accompanied by preparations in the region,” Macron told a joint press conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi ahead of the opening of the Baghdad Cooperation and Partnership Conference for neighboring countries.
