Srinagar : Kashmiri separatist leader Yasin Malik, who has been convicted in a terror funding case, was sentenced to life in prison, alongside a penalty of at least 10 lakhs, based on different cases, on Wednesday. “As the court declined the NIA’s request for the death penalty, Malik has been given two life sentences and 10 years of rigorous life imprisonment in five different cases,” advocate Umesh Sharma, told the media following the court’s sentence.
