Mumbai, Jan 4 : Bollywood thespian Dilip Kumar and his wife Saira Banu have slapped a legal notice on Mumbai builder Sameer N. Bhojwani, alleging “continuous harassment and a well-planned conspiracy to take over the only property” the couple has in Mumbai.

The defamation notice has been served in response to a Public Notice published in the Mumbai media through Bhojwani’s lawyer, Digvijay Singh, after which the celebrity couple said “they fear for their lives.”

“It is disheartening to go through such a tumultuous phase at this age. They property rightfully belongs to Yusuf Khan saheb (Dilip Kumar). We neither have the support nor the strength to go through this continuous harassment by Sameer Bhojwani, whose only focus seems to usurping our land,” a distraught Saira Banu told IANS on Friday.

She said the couple has already approached Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis seeking their help.      IANS

  1. Very sad to hear that Icon of Bollywood going through this type of harassment & nobody from govt. is helping them shame on them, even people from Bollywood are also not coming for any help.

    • Yes let Allah take care of this. If Allah means god, then he is for everyone. He is not a property of Muslims alone !

By the way, Why bother CM or PM for pitty property related disputes. Why Dilip Saheb want special treatment? Is it because he is Muslim and a celebrity?

There are police , courts and institutions in the country which deal with disputes of whatsoever nature.
