Assam: Fighting from all odds, a 17-year-old differently able girl Jebin Kousar grabbed First Division in High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exam of Assam Board of Secondary Education (SEBA).
Jebin Kousar, was born without the hands, but despite all her difficulties she has completed her High school with first division. She did not allow her disability to overcome her success, so she wrote with her feet.
The results of SEBA, High School declared on Friday, 25 May in which she qualified the exam with first division. Jebin studied in a private school known as Gyan Jyoti Academy of Hojai, Assam. She was among the 16 students who appeared for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC).
Jebin Kousar’s father Abdul Jabbar is a poor auto driver, who earns 5,000 rupees per month. Kousar is the eldest one out of the six daughters of Abdul Jabbar and Fateha Begum, who live in Murajhar, which is about a 180 kilometres from Guwahati.
Post declaration of the result her school shared the story of her success as a source of inspiration.
