Hyderabad : Mohammed Hassan Ali may seem to you like an ordinary 11-year-old kid studying in a school but the 7th grade student teaches B.Tech and M.Tech students of various colleges.
Like other school kids, Ali goes to school in the morning, but in the evening he dons the job of a teacher after completing homework.
“I was watching a video on the internet about Indians doing odd jobs in foreign countries even after studying. That is when it struck me to question what is it that our engineers lack. I realised it is primarily technical and communication skills that they are not aware of. Since my area of interest is designing, I started learning and teaching the same”, Mohammed Hassan Ali said while talking to news agency ANI.
“I have been doing this since last year. I go to school in the morning and I am back home at 3 pm. I play and do my homework. By 6 pm, I go to the coaching institute to teach civil, mechanical and electrical engineers”, he said.
Ali, who wants to teach a thousand engineers by the end of 2020, does not charge any fees for the lessons he gives to college students. At present, he is teaching designing and drafting to 30 civil, electrical and mechanical students at a local coaching institute.
“I have been coming here for a month-and-a-half to learn civil software. Hassan Ali is younger to all of us here but manages to teach quite well. He is skillful and good at what he teaches and it is also easy to comprehend”, G Sushma, civil engineer and a student of Ali, said.
