“Is treating a patient a sin?” Dr. Naveen of Orthopaedic Hospital Medak asked in a video shared on social media. The doctor, visibly shaken and in tears, spoke about the traumatic experience of having his hospital attacked by the Hindutva goons. “Next time whenever any patient comes to my hospital, I will first consult other doctors before treating him,” he said sarcastically, highlighting his frustration and helplessness.

The mob not only vandalized the hospital but also smashed the cars of the hospital staff parked outside. According to reports, the management of Madrasa Minhaj ul Uloom had purchased cattle for sacrifice for Bakra Eid. This act of religious observance triggered unrest among members of right-wing Hindutva organizations, who created a ruckus near the madrasa. Police intervened and dispersed the mob, but not before the attackers targeted nearby shops owned by Muslims.
An hour later, members of the right-wing groups returned to the madrasa, launching a renewed and more violent attack. Several individuals inside the madrasa were injured and had to be rushed to the local hospital for treatment.
“We were treating the wounded patients when a mob of about 100 to 150 people stormed the hospital, pelting stones and damaging the window panes. Furniture was damaged, and a staff member suffered a fractured leg,” Dr. Naveen recounted to media persons. “Tell us what wrong we have done. Is treating a patient a sin?” he asked, expressing his disbelief and sorrow over the incident.
In the aftermath of the violence, Medak remains tense. The state has deployed additional police forces to the disturbed area to maintain order and prevent further escalation. The community is in shock, grappling with the violence that disrupted their lives and the assault on a place meant to heal and save lives.
This shows level of intolerance in this country
I said when Congress started ruling Telangana, next time it would be BJP, an expected result of illicit relationship between congress and bjp.
Wake-up Chief Minister Reventh Reddy if you did not punish the real culprits then you will lose trust from people.
Just do one thing follow the CCTV Camera ‘s footages and mobiles video clips you can see clear faces of 40 – 50 culprits who damaged the vehicles and destroy hospital property and injured the people this proof is more than enough to prove them guilty. Just arrest them and put in the jail and collect total damaged property value from them beside this run the trial and as per the result of trials punish them properly and try to frame them non-bailable offence so it will set good example for others and in future nobody will dare to do such things.
