By M Ghazali Khan Veteran Urdu journalist and broadcaster Asaf Jilani passed away in London at his home on 3rd April 2023. He was 89. He had been battling cancer for the last two years. Mr Jilani started his career as a sub-editor and later as a reporter with the Daily Imroze, after which he joined the Daily Jang.
