Ambur Ex- MLA Aslam Basha dies at 52

By Gowtham K Former Member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from the Ambur constituency Mr Aslam Basha, 52, passed away this morning due to ill health. Mr Basha was the state organizing secretary of the Manithaneya Makkal Katchi, a party presided by Prof M. H. Jawahirullah. Basha won the 2011 assembly elections on behalf of the Manithaneya Makkal Katchi in the AIADMK alliance just after Ambur was divided from Vaniyambadi constituency in Thirupathur district and Ambur assembly constituency was formed.
