Over 8,000 sign petition seeking old Osmania University logo with Urdu inscriptions

New Delhi: More than 8,000 men and women have signed an online petition seeking restoration of the old logo of Hyderabad-based Osmania University 9 (OU). The petition said several changes have been made in the logo in the past. When OU was set up, its emblem had the Nizam turra (crown) of Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan, the seventh Nizam and the founder of Osmania University.
