New Delhi: Maulana Ata-ur-Rahman Wajdi, President of Wahdat –e –Islami Hind while expressing his opinion on the Babri Masjid title suit decision, demanded peace and justice in present scenario.
‘We should put our trust on Allah as all the evidences and documents submitted by Sunni Waqf Board are satisfactory and we hope that the decision will be in our favor, said a press statement of Wahdat.
He appealed to all citizens of India to remain tolerant and maintain restraint over the Supreme Court decision, neither to display over joy nor create nuisance exhibiting un-Islamic behavior.
Maulana Wajdi reiterated the Islamic Sharia ruling related to masjid that, “a Masjid once built remains masjid forever and hence Babri Masjid was a Masjid; it is a Masjid and will remain Masjid always.”
Sharia ruling will always be revered whatever may be the court decision, it added.
