The leader of the Janata Dal United National party, Rajiv Ranjan, better known as Lallan Singh among his fans, on Sunday, alleged that the planned visit to Bihar by Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be an effort to sour communal peace.
“Amit Shah will come and across the country and in Bihar, he will try to spoil communal harmony. The people of Bihar are careful. He will make no headway,” he said.
On September 23 and 24, Amit Shah is anticipated to travel to the Seemanchal district of Bihar as part of the BJP’s new campaign strategy for the state.
On September 23, he’s expected to hold a rally in the Purnia district before holding organisational meetings in Kishanganj the next day.
Seemanchal is a Muslim-dominated belt with a significant Grand Alliance presence.
