    • What the (non)’Secular Hindu’ is saying reflects his prejudiced thinking. His congratulation appears to be actually for not wearing Hijab rather than for Dr Bushra’s marvelous work. He probably seeks to suggest that had she opted for hijab, she would not scale academic heights. Wearing or not wearing Hijab is her personal choice while hijab is no hindrance in attaining academic success. Finally I offer sincere and heartiest congratulation to Dr Bushra for her outstanding achievement and pray for more and more accomplishments in future.

    • Yes she doesn’t wear hijab but I am damn sure that she don’t need affiliation from hate mongers and she will never endorse bigots like you.

    • Wearing hijab makes women pious if she is not wearing hijab it’s her choice but if any girl is wearing hijab it does not mean that she is not intelligent .so change your mentality toward hijabi girls .

    • Yeah many don’t……! Just because she’s a Muslim, doesn’t necessarily mean she has to cover herself up ,against her will. Well, we don’t see all Muslim men with long beards and dressed in kurta pajamas !!

  1. Its really good to see Muslim name amongst great achievers specifically in science. Muslim who were pioneers in the field of science are lagging so far behind other communities around the globe. Seldom we see any muslim getting top scientific achievement award. May Allah give her more success in future and her inspiration for many others.

  2. Congratulations.Dr Bushra Ateeq, your Devotion rewarded with the Bhatnagar Prize 2020 for her outstanding work in the field of Medical Sciences.
May Allah guide you to greater heights in the Medical Field .
    Best regards.

  14. Congrats Dr. BUSRA for the achievement. Definitely you are a symbol of inspiration for the girls of the world in general and India in perticular. So far as the Hijab is concerned, now a days it is widely used by girls and ladies of all the religions, though not by the name Hijab but as a head covering to conceal their head and a large part of face in the manner of hijab /naqab.Hijab or naqab, though a traditional Muslim dress code for the girls and ladies, has no longer remained confined to that particular religion. It has widely been accepted and used by the girls and ladies of almost all the communities, because of the goodness of the apparel. So, why the controversy over that.
