A court in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, handed down a seven-year jail term to prominent Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan, his wife Tazeen Fatima, and their son Abdullah Azam in connection with a 2019 fake birth certificate case. MP-MLA court magistrate Shobit Bansal pronounced the verdict, awarding the three convicts the maximum permissible sentence.
“After the court verdict, the trio was taken into judicial custody and will be sent to the jail from the court itself,” said Arun Parkash Saxena, a former District Government Counsel who was representing the prosecution.
The case stemmed from an FIR filed by BJP MLA Akash Saxena at the Ganj police station in Rampur on January 3, 2019. The complaint alleged that Azam Khan and his wife facilitated their son in obtaining two fraudulent birth certificates—one from Lucknow and the other from Rampur.
According to the charge sheet, the certificate issued by the Rampur municipality contained Abdullah Azam’s date of birth as January 1, 1993, while the other certificate claimed he was born in Lucknow on September 30, 1990.
The only sin of Azam Khan Saheb was that he tried empowering Muslim community by establishing universities educational institutes for them, which is not digested by RSS and its government, like empowerment among Arabs is not digested by America Israel and its allies …
Muslims must start maintaining dual hypocritic relationship with their enemies(friends in hypocrisy), like their enemies dealing with them.
