Panjim, Goa–The Tiswadi Muslim Welfare Society (TMWS) in association with RG Stone Hospital Porvorim, Noble Health Laboratory and Goa College of Pharmacy, organized a free Mega Health Checkup Camp on March 19th, 2023, in the premises of Goa College of Pharmacy, St.Inez Panjim, Goa.
The Camp was inaugurated by Shri. Vivek Parshekar, Municipal Engineer for the Corporation of the City of Panjim Goa. The Mega Health Check-up Camp benefited approximately 300 people from Tiswadi taluka.

The camp offered free consultation in general health and gynecology, ECG and ultrasound by RG Stone Hospital. Important blood tests like Haemoglobin, blood glucose and kidney function tests were conducted by Noble Health Laboratory. Eye testing was conducted by Lens & Spex while dental checkup was done by Dr. Amit Patil, Porvorim.
“The health checkup camp was an excellent opportunity to help people in need and provide them with free medical consultations and tests. We are grateful to our partners and the doctors and the staff of RG Stone Hospital who supported us in this noble cause,” said Shri. Barkat Ali Shaikh, the President of TMWS.
TMWS is a registered society committed towards working for the welfare of people. The objectives of TMWS include: organizing camps and programs in the fields of education, health, counseling and working towards women’s development and their empowerment.
Member of the said NGO Irshad Shaikh Informed that the response to the camp was beyond their expectations.
“We have managed expenses through donations,we will continue this humanitarian work in future,” said Sheikh.
