The INDIA Coalition Coordination Committee held its inaugural meeting in Delhi on Wednesday, during which leaders from across India made a resolute decision to halt the participation of their representatives and spokespersons in television shows hosted by certain prominent TV anchors.
This decision, which has garnered widespread attention, was officially disclosed by the India Alliance’s media committee, which unveiled the list of anchors in question today.
Congress National Spokesperson Pawan Kheda took to Twitter to share this consequential development, highlighting that the resolution emerged from a virtual meeting convened by the India Media Committee earlier in the afternoon.
“Hate shops are decorated on some channels every evening from 5 PM. We will not be customers of the market of hate. Our aim is ‘Hate Free India’. It is with a heavy heart that we have decided not to participate in some anchors’ shows and events. Uncontrolled comments against our leaders, fake news etc,” he said in a tweet.
“Hate will disappear ~ Love will win,” the tweet read
The roster, which has been disseminated by multiple parties within the INDIA coalition, includes the names of 14 news anchors from prominent media outlets. These anchors encompass Arnab Goswami from Republic Network, Sudhir Chaudhary from Aaj Tak, Amish Devgan from News18 Hindi, Navika Kumar from TimesNow, and Gaurav Sawant from IndiaToday Group, among others.

The INDIA coalition’s primary objective is to influence public sentiment, with the perception being that the BJP has a stronghold over mainstream media outlets.
Opposition parties have relied on social media platforms and independent journalists to advance their agenda and amplify their messaging in order to counterbalance this perceived bias.
