By Muslim Mirror News

Hyderabad: The Managing director of Peace International School and the Islamic preacher MM Akbar has been arrested on Sunday from the Hyderabad.

Akbar came into limelight after the Kerala government decided to close down his institution near Kochi that alleged to promote enmity among the different groups on the ground of religious differences.

A few months back the same institution fetches the headlines when the 21 people went missing from Kerala and reportedly to join the terror group ISIS in Syria or Afghanistan.

Akbar is famous as Kerala’s Zakir Naik, he ran around 13 branches of Peace International School in the different district of Kerala.

According to the media sources, a chapter of class II was leaked by the parents to the media, following which the state initiated an investigation. Later, the probe revealed that the school did not follow the pattern of CBSE or NCERT but instead using the books published by the private publishing houses that allegedly contained the orthodox Islamic narratives.

In connection with the following case, the investigation team had arrested three people earlier who admitted that their aim was to radicalize the children from the age group of 5-13 years.

Hence, after the arrest, the publication house Burooj Realization had withdrawn the textbooks distributed to schools across the country.
