Karim Benzema’s partner Jordan Ozuna accepts Islam, says she ‘cried like a girl’ reading Quran

by Muslim Mirror Staff

Jordan Ozuna, Karim Benzema’s partner and mother of his fourth child, has announced that she has converted to Islam.

The American model expressed her emotions and shared that her conversion ceremony took place at the Madrid Mosque, a profoundly meaningful experience for her.

“I have converted to Islam. It was here in the Mosque of Madrid. They recite the Qur’an. … It’s a small and intimate ceremony. I cried like a girl. I am very sentimental,” she said.

“I have researched a lot about this religion, and I find it beautiful. Everything I’ve read about her has moved me. During Ramadan, I read the Qur’an, and it made me cry. I also read The Sacred Path to Islam , about a Christian who converts to Islam, like me. A really precious book.”

Karim Benzema, a long-standing player of Real Madrid, recently finalized his transfer to Al-Ittihad, a club in the Saudi Pro League. This move marks the conclusion of his successful tenure with Real Madrid.

Ozuna, his partner, is expected to offer her support from the sidelines in Saudi Arabia.

“This very Friday, I could travel. I feel like an adventure and to really get to know the culture and the food,” she said.

Ozuna, who was born in Maryland, USA, also commented on the dress regulations in the Asian country.

“For my part, there is no problem. It is a precious culture, and I am delighted with the adventure,” she said.

Karim Benzema, the iconic 35-year-old French striker and current Ballon d’Or holder, recently confirmed his move to the Saudi Arabian league club Al-Ittihad. After an illustrious 12-year tenure with Real Madrid, fondly known as Los Blancos, he bid farewell to the club.

During his time with Real Madrid, he achieved remarkable success, winning a total of 24 trophies, which included four La Liga titles, three Copa del Rey victories, and an impressive five UEFA Champions League triumphs.
