In a gesture of religious harmony, a group of Kashmir pandits on Saturday welcomed Muslim pilgrims who landed at Srinagar airport after completing rituals of Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
The Kashmiri pandits offered roses to the pilgrims, congratulated them on completion of their religious journey and recited “naat” in praise of Prophet Muhammad.
This gesture of goodwill was hailed by various politicians, community leaders and activists and others. A video clip related to the same was largely shared on social media.
