New Delhi: Maulana Arshad Madani, principal of Islamic seminary Darul Uloom Deoband, has praised Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a hardline Hindu organisation. He believes the RSS is changing its old ”ideology” and coming to the right path.
He welcomed Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat’s remarks, in which he has said that Hindus and Muslims share ancestry in India. ”I like his comment very much. I think the RSS is changing its old ideology and following the right path,” he said while speaking to Dainik Bhaskar.
Madani seems to be ignorant to ongoing atrocities being committed against Muslims across India as a result of anti-Islam propaganda furthered by RSS leaders. He also appears to have overlooked the written agendas of the RSS, in which Muslims, Christians and communists have been declared as enemies.
To be misled by some petty remarks of one person is like living in the fools’ paradise. First of all, some so-called pro-Muslim remarks made by Bhagwat are not trustworthy. On one hand, he is making such remarks while on the other hand, he is purportedly letting his men continue the persecution of Muslims and other minority communities in the country.
Secondly, RSS is a 100-year-old cadre-based ideological organisation guided by a set of written fundamentals. Its members have been instilled with anti-Muslim hatred and have been working on the Hindu nationalist agenda for decades. So, one man’s comment is unlikely to have any substantial impact on the functioning of this organisation.
It’s the right analysis. By saying Hindus and Muslims share same ancestry the RSS idiologue keeps the doors open for”Ghar Wapsi”

Either the Mohtram Maulana is ignorant and blind or sheer opportunist which is more likely. Both brothers are the same. His statement deserves repudiation and condemnation by Muslim masses.
