Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has landed in New Delhi, India, leading the Saudi delegation to the G20 Summit, according to a report from the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). His visit, in response to an invitation from the Prime Minister of India, signifies the Kingdom’s active engagement in the G20 leaders’ summit scheduled to take place in New Delhi from Saturday, September 9 to Sunday, September 10.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s State visit to India is expected to extend until Monday, September 11, during which time he will hold discussions on a wide range of topics, including bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern. A core meeting of the Saudi-Indian Strategic Partnership Council is also on the agenda.
This visit reinforces Saudi Arabia’s commitment to enhancing international cooperation and strengthening its ties with India, while actively participating in global forums such as the G20. It marks Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s second state visit to India, with his previous visit occurring in February 2019.
During his stay, the Saudi Crown Prince is scheduled to engage in talks addressing various aspects of the Saudi-Indian relationship and its role on the global stage. Moreover, on September 11, he will have a meeting with President Droupadi Murmu.
