The board has registered an FIR against Chishti after he called it a ”pimp” for demanding a ban on Popular Front of India

New Delhi: Syed Sarwar Chishti, Khadim of the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, continues to attack Sufi Islamic Board allegedly for its pro-government approaches. In a fresh interview with Muslim Mirror, Chishti said that the board is an RSS-backed organisation.
Sufi Islamic Board on 23 January registered an FIR against Chishti after he called the Board a ”pimp” for demanding a ban on Popular Front of India (PFI).
The FIR was registered at the Juhi police station in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur city under section 153(A) of the IPC and Section 66 of the IT Act in the FIR number 0013.
The Sufi Islamic Board had also served a legal notice to Mr Chishti on December 1, 2020, to withdraw his statement and seek an unconditional apology. But Khadim refused to respond to the notice leading to the lodging of the FIR.
When Mr Chishti was asked if he would extend an apology he said sarcastically, ”la haula walakuata illabillah [There is no power but in Allah the High, the Great]. Does anyone seek an apology from RSS people?”
”It is the government’s jurisdiction to look if the PFI has done anything wrong and if the organisation should be banned. Who are they to say that PFI should be banned?” he asked.
Mr Chishti has been vocal in support of PFI. He has alleged that the organisation has not been involved in any illegal or anti-national activity.
Ruckus is bound to happen when clerics and maulanas start doing politics. Maulanas should stick to religious guidance.
Alhamdulillah Sarwar sahab ko salaam.
Calling a spade a spade.
Also Kurdoglu pimps have to be called out.
Leave all firqas, come back to the vast fold of mainstream Islam.
