New Delhi: In the world rankings of top 400 universities, there are only three in India – and all are IITs (Indian Institute of Technology). None of the three have figured in the top 200.
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2012-2013 powered by Thomson Reuters have released a list of top 400 universities of the world. There is no Indian university, but three IITs.

Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee
In the top 10 are US and UK universities. California Institute of Technology (United States) is at No. 1 while University of Oxford (United Kingdom) has got No. 2 position and Harvard University (United States) No. 4. University of Cambridge (United Kingdom) is at No. 7.
