New York: The UN Security Council will hold on Tuesday its quarterly open debate on the Middle East, with a focus on the Palestinian issue.
Uruguay’s Foreign Minister Rodolfo Nin Novoa, whose country holds the Security Council’s presidency for the current month, will preside over the ministerial-level meeting.
During this first quarterly meeting of the year, the Council will hear a briefing by the General Secretariat on the latest developments in the Middle East, particularly the Palestinian issue.
