New Delhi : On the second day of Polish Athletics Championship at Bydgoszcz Indian quarter miler Mohammad Anas has qualified for the Rio Olympics. Anas has broken the men’s 400m national record.
The 21-year-old Kerala athlete has become the 21st Indian track and field athlete to qualify for the Rio Olympics scheduled from August 5 to 21. He clocked 45.40secs breaking his own record of 45.40 secs set on Friday.
Anas is a silver medalist of the Federation Cup National Athletics Championships held in April. At the event he had clocked 45.74secs.
