New Delhi : A court in Surjapur on Thursday directed the police to lodge an FIR against the family of Mohammad Akhlaq who was lynched by a mob last September allegedly for consuming and storing beef in a village in Dadri (UP).
The court directive came after a petition was filed in the court to this effect seeking court direction to the police to register an FIR against Akhlaq’s family members for cow slaughter and animal cruelty.
This development has followed the report by forensic laboratory in Mathura which said that the meat was of cow or its progeny the slaughter of which is unlawful in the state.
It contradicted the initial report after Akhlaq’s lynching which had contended that the meat recovered was of goat progeny and not cow.
Earlier Akhlaq’s brother, Jaan Mohammad had said that “No police officer collected the meat sample from our house. The sample was collected from the road.”
INCREDIBLE INDIA!
This is India. Muslims shall never get justice with the fascist government.
Dadri lynching was an unfortunate incidence. Nobody can justify such terror incidence even though Akhlaq’s family was involved in cow slaughter.
OH ALLAH how long Muslims will suffer in India.
Destroy the evil forces of India. Give the mad cow illness to all cows of India & destroy all evil forces against Muslims & Islam.
Subhaan Allaah. No house is safe. Muslims should stand out against these atrocities. Just condemning, won’t work.
its RSS & BJP rule..
how can Muslim be in peace… modi owns everything and every one…
RSS commands modi does it….
Modi says ache Din… aayenge RSS ke..
In the petition moved by the locals, seven members of the family, including the widow of the deceased, and his mother Asgari were named. The petitioners told the CJM court that their plea was not entertained by the local police earlier and hence they moved the court.
