China is currently facing the epidemic of Coronavirus. Till now there are 43112 numbers of cases that are reported and 811 numbers of deaths are confirmed.
The 2002-2003 outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS, killed 774 people and sickened almost 8,100 others, in 26 countries, over eight months, the World Health Organization (WHO) said. Mainland China accounted for about 45% of SARS deaths.
Recently Delhi election results were declared in favor of AAP. If we look at the BJP campaign for Delhi election then bringing Mongol and Mughal history for boosting there vote bank is a habitual act.
The part of the history that India as a nation is obsessed are mostly about wars and battles that took place between Mughals and Hindu kings. History lessons are also beyond wars and battles and are also about natural calamity and about diseases that affected human race.
The Mongol army conquered hundreds of cities and villages, and it also killed millions of men, women and children in Asia. It has been estimated that causality in Millions killed happened during or immediately after the Turco-Mongol invasions. Though India under the rule of Delhi Sultanate ruler Tughlaq able to save Indian Territory from Mongol invasion but other Asian countries were affected in worst form by the Mongol terror. This episode is well known by many who have keen interest in world history.
It is also important for BJP leaders who are obsessed with events related to war and battle should also remember that history have other topic as well to study and lessons to learn from.
The Black Death or The great Plague was much deadly then Mongol invasion and expansion and consequence much worst then world war. The Black Plague, was one of the most devastating pandemics in human history, resulting in the deaths of an estimated 75 to 200 million people in Eurasia, peaking in Europe from 1347 to 1351.
The Black Death is estimated to have killed 30% to 60% of Europe’s population. In total, the plague may have reduced the world population from an estimated 475 million to 350–375 million in the 14th century. It took 200 years for the world population to recover to its previous level.
When political parties talk about only wars and battles from history book and do not talk about epidemic of Disease in History then it is clear that welfare of its citizen is not the concern but history is remember only for the vote bank politics and to polarize society.
As the Coronavirus death toll in China climbed to 811 on Sunday. Prime Minister Modi offered “Assistance to Chinese president Xi jinping to face the epidemic of virus .
While India is offering assistance to china but are we prepared as a country to tackle china like situation?
While Delhi vote to AAP for the initiative like “Mohalla Clinic” itself shows that india still at a primary level when it comes to Health and Medical sector.
When Mohalla Clinic is our benchmark for medical achievement then it is clear that india as country is not prepared for China like situation.
As per the official Government Data 7136 cases of Dengue was reported in year 2018 and 4 death happened because of it.
